an honorable mention to...

Okay I don't see why I am being labeled as the honarable mention narzi. If you check my posts I always have one for most of my lists. However just one. A top 10 list with 5 honorable mentions is a top fifteen list. And isn't the point of these lists to make the tough decision that seperates the 10 best from the rest. Otherwise its taking the easy way out.

Herr Lucas,

I agree that the point of a top 10 list is to separate the wheat from the chaff. However (and there's always a however in life), is not the one of the points of this group to share recommendations about good things we've heard?

To me the honorable mention is a way of saying, "these didn't quite make the cut, but I enjoyed them". I certainly concur that to list 5-10 HMs is probably a bit excessive, but I would think up to 3 would be ok.

Otherwise I don't think I'll be able to find room for "Solo Acoustic Vol 1". And what list is complete without Jackson Browne, right??

Auf Widersehen,
Mike

I'm just curious if Mike has actually seen "chaff", except on his thighs when he wears courdaroys.

Neil, you should have been around for the infamous "rescheduling of the meeting" debacle. We used to have 10 members and 3 perished in that battle.... as for Mike and chaffing, some things are best left without visuals.
